Sight Fishing

poling.JPGLight-tackle angling at its best: Stalk your prey, present your lure, and see them eat it. You will be casting from the bow of an 18’ Beavertail skiff, being poled along secluded shorelines in search of your quarry. Be prepared, because this type of angling can become very addictive.Quality lures, flies, rods and reels will be supplied, choose either spinning, bait casting or fly. Feel free to bring along your favorite rod and gear, but pack light since the captain is well stocked.Up to two anglers are included per trip, but for maximum catching opportunities one angler is recommended.Mostly you will be catching redfish and trout, but depending on the weather, tides and season, jack crevalle, tarpon and shark are a possibility. These fishing trips are primarily catch and release, but retention of fish is welcome with advanced notice.
