Jetty or Inshore BIG Game Fishing
JETTY TRIPS are a hoot, you never know what you might hook next. We could be drifting the channel with bait or deep jigging to catch big bull reds, jacks or kings. Anchored near the rocks fishing live shrimp or finfish for eating-sized redfish, black drum, sheepshead and speckled trout or trolling the current change at the ends of the rocks for kings, shark and jacks. Rods/reels, terminal tackle, lures, dead finfish and fish cleaning are provided.
- 8-hours, 1-3 persons $550
- $50 charge per additional person
I.B.G. TRIPS are usually catch-and-release fishing that targets large fish. We fish the jetties, Pass Cavallo and deep channels/sandbars in the open bays. Bull reds 15-40 lbs., Jack Crevalle 10-30 lbs., Tarpon 40-150 lbs., Stingrays up to 150 lbs., and Sharks 40-150 lbs. regularly stretch the lines. The sharks caught on these trips (blacktip, spinner, bull, sandbar and lemon) are tagged for research and released in good health. Eating-size sharks less than 60 lbs. can be retained when requested, ask for details.
Rods/reels, terminal tackle, lures and dead finfish are provided. Please note that time during the trip may be needed to catch fresh bait (local bait houses do not supply large live mullet or fresh dead ladyfish.)
SPRING/FALL TRIPS (late February through March) targeting large Black Drum to 60 lbs. are very popular as well as (September through mid-October) targeting Bull Reds up to 40 lbs. Additional eating sized fish like trout, redfish, black drum and sheepshead are normally caught while fishing for the big ones. These trips are especially attractive to families due to the style of fishing, there is rarely a dull moment and very large fish are the norm instead of the exception. Book in advance for SPRING BREAK!
Rods/reels, terminal tackle, dead bait/live crabs and fish cleaning are provided. Live shrimp is available dockside at an addtional charge.
- 5-hours, 1-3 persons $450
